Jennifer Morris

Jennifer Morris
On January 24th, 1983, Jennifer Morris went shopping at the Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey. A resident of Pacific Grove, Jennifer was just 20-years-old. Jennifer did not return home that day, and her car was later found in the shopping center parking lot, with recently purchased items still inside.
No sign of Jennifer could be found during the initial investigation, and no positive leads as to her whereabouts were identified. Believing she was still alive, her father spent years searching for her before his death.
In 2011, a local surveyor found human skeletal remains in the wooded area behind the movie theater at the shopping center. Dental records would confirm that the remains belonged to Jennifer, who had been missing for 28 years. At the time of her disappearance, the movie theater had not been built, and was an overflow parking area, adjacent to the wooded location where her remains were found. This location was approximately 1/2 mile from where her car was parked in 1983. Based on the evidence recovered, Jennifer’s death was ruled a homicide.
Jennifer has not been forgotten.
